- Trash service: The porter will open the garage every Friday morning to take the trash out to the curb and return it inside after service.

- **Anonymous**: "You can't beat the location, right on La Jolla Cove and easy walkable access to all the restaurants and shops of downtown La Jolla.  We loved being able to cross the street whenever we wanted to watch the sealions, seals and gobs of birds at the beaches and cliffs.

The house itself is as advertised; large and spacious with great indoor/outdoor living.  The kitchen is incredible if you enjoy the option of cooking your own meals.  There are places for everyone to find a quiet spot of their own or congregate on the main floor.  This property was great for our family reunion.

Remember the location?  The amazing quantity of seabirds unfortunately also gives you olfactory access to what they leave behind...  And that smell is rough.  This is just part of the location and there's nothing to be done about it except hoping your outdoor time coincides with the wind blowing offshore, but it does impact the quality of your outdoor patio experience." The home appeared very clean, but rugs & dining chairs were still wet at check-in and took days to dry. It was also not well-stocked for a longer stay—no extra paper towels, no dish soap, no cleaning supplies or laundry detergent, and not enough trash bags. Also, the hot water problems were very annoying.
The WiFi was spotty and could not support our baby monitor. 
While the setting is great, for the nightly rate, this lack of preparation and basic amenities significantly impacted our experience. Future guests should plan to bring all essentials…including robes/slippers. 
Also, access to the main drag is on the top level. would have been nice to know about it earlier but there wasn’t anything helping us learn about the house. it certainly takes a few days to get settled." (6/5)
