- Not a single item in the cabinets to cook. No oil, no condiments. Nothing. 
- Hot water stopped working one night, a worker was to come in the morning. Instead we were given instructions on how to reset the heater the next day, thankfully it worked.
- This listing is for the top floor of a house. The bottom is a different listing - connected by a staircase in the courtyard (they could come up to our primary bedroom door from the balcony). Was not an issue, but would’ve been good to know
- Garage is shared, we encountered the other renters each day. One day they parked in our spot and we had to call Airbnb.  You can hear the garage each time it is opened and closed -bedroom is directly above the garage.  So when the other renters came in at 2am, it was concerning" (8/5)

Our main issue was that there is minimal sound insulation between the upper and lower rental units so you will likely hear the neighbors below. This should normally not be a problem, but unfortunately, we had a one-night rental below us and the tenants were very noisy until 2:45 AM and not receptive to keeping things down! We planned to move to the second bedroom over the garage, but fortunately the one-nighters left the next morning.
The garage parking served us well but note that the tandem parking space behind the garage is pretty short.
NXT Property Management was excellent with smooth check-in and check-out. I reached out to them a couple of times and they promptly responded. Five stars for their service!" (8/5)

Great restaurants abound, and the ocean views at La Jolla Cove never disappoint. The little touches in the kitchen and bathrooms were greatly appreciated. This was a splurge for us and worth it.
