This beautifully modernized Spanish 1-bedroom, 1-bath, 1000 sq. ft. 1-story casita, with private front row bay access - combined with city and harbor views - is a great place to call “home” for your seaside vacation in San Diego. This home can also be rented with a 2-bedroom, 1.5-bath home that is right next to it. Please see "On The Beach Clubhouse" if you are interested in renting both homes.

Special Note: Construction currently is being done on the property next door. Noise from the construction can start as early as 7:00am due to local regulations - and normally lasts until around 3pm. Constructions is normally not going on during the weekend days or holidays.

This casita is a great place for indoor/outdoor living as it features a large shared harbor and city view patio with comfortable seating, al fresco dining, and a shared fire pit area right next to the sand. It also has its own barbecue so summer never stops here. Seaside living at its best! It is ideal for people who just want a simple, comfortable “home” to return to after their day’s adventures.

Enter this beautifully appointed nautical themed home and to the left you will find a king bedroom. There is also a modern bath with a large walk in-shower.

Go down 4 steps from the entry level to a dining area for 6 and a well-appointed living room with a large comfortable couch and a flat screen TV. There is a sliding glass door to the harbor/city view patio which has a table for dining al fresco and a grill. (Please note this is a shared patio with the home right next to it, but it is large enough for 2 sets of guests to enjoy.)

This home comfortably sleeps 2 and all beds and bathrooms are always furnished with a generous supply of premiere linens for your comfort. Beach towels are also provided for your swimming and kayaking adventures!

There is also WIFI and convenient street parking near the home.

A little about the area:

La Playa is a bayfront neighborhood in the Point Loma community of San Diego, California. It is bordered by the San Diego Bay on the east, Naval Base Point Loma on the south, the Wooded Area neighborhood to the west and Point Loma Village/Roseville-Fleetridge to the north. It lies across a channel from Shelter Island.

You are just a short drive to the beach, airport, and freeway access so you can easily explore the greater San Diego area - with its multitude of world-class attractions - then retreat to your quiet space to rest, relax, and recharge. This premium location cannot be beat!

Grocery stores and a nice selection of cafes and eateries are nearby in Point Loma, so you can treat yourself to various cuisine options, including great places for feasting on fresh fish.

You are also near Shoreline Park, Point Loma Nazarene University, and Point Loma Community Park, so beautiful open spaces for walking and exploring are also easily available.

This home shares the back patio with the 2-bedroom unit next door ("On the Beach Casa"). The patio is spacious, so this should not be problematic for our guests.

The home is a DUPLEX so the units share 1 wall. This would be the wall in the bathroom and living room - which is shared with the unit next door's living room wall.

This home is in a quiet neighborhood and is only suitable for quieter groups. Our rental agreement includes a no tolerance policy regarding excessive noise, occupancy and/or parties. Deposit forfeitures and/or evictions are strictly enforced. Please make sure you are comfortable with these policies before renting with La Jolla Vacation Rentals CA.
